Munchalunch!

It’s time to order lunches for the fall session using MunchaLunch.com.  We are offering lunches on Tuesday and Thursday until the Christmas break.  On Tuesday we will have an alternating menu of Samosas (made by Kootenay Tamil Kitchen) and mac and cheese (Frantastic Foodz).  The REACH Program will once again be offering hot lunches for our kids on Thursdays. Orders are due on Thursday, September 12. Orders will not continue throughout the session and will not be accepted past September 19. If you are already registered simply go to MunchaLunch.com and login to orderIf you have not yet registered your family, you will need to go to the Landing page provided for our school below.

Ordering is now open and will be closed after Thursday September 19. Payment will be due during this time. Lunches for this session will start on Tuesday, September 17 and end Thursday, December 12.

Please note if your child is ill on a lunch date, you are welcome to come and pick up their lunch by 11:45am; otherwise please consider it a donation for a child who does not have a lunch. We appreciate your support for our lunch program as the funds go towards playground, field trips, and general fundraising within the school.

We are in need of Volunteers to help serve lunch on Tuesday’s only.  There is a Volunteer page in the online system where you can checkmark which dates you are available (please choose only Tuesday).  The lunch coordinator will then contact you with a proposed schedule.  We can only offer a lunch program if we have Volunteers!

Our thanks to the Wildflower parent community for supporting this important fundraiser and to our wonderful Volunteers who help make this program a success!

Karee-Ann Stuart, coordinator of the REACH program has included the following information about the Hot Lunch program:
“The REACH Hot Lunch program is designed to provide our students an opportunity to develop life skills, as well as how to run a business. They learn how to cook, develop time management skills, customer service skills, budgeting, food prep, baking and interpersonal skills. All proceeds directly benefit programming at REACH – Food Safe Certification, First-Aid Certification, REACH Graduation ceremony, as well as a hardship fund for those who are struggling to provide for themselves outside of our programming”.
