Coldest Night of the Year

Wildflower School is once again participating in the Coldest Night of the Year on February 25th!  Please join us on our walk!

It’s cold out there. And on February 25th, we’re going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, our team will be walking in the Coldest Night of the Year, raising much-needed funds for local charities who support and serve the hungry, homeless, and hurting.

In Nelson, all funds raised will be given to Nelson CARES Society.  From their website… Nelson CARES Society works toward a socially just society by providing programs and initiatives in advocacy, housing, employment, support services, and environmental stewardship. This year the Nelson Cares Society will be using all money fund raised to help renovate the Ward Street Place low income housing units.
